Good Carnival

With the carnival coming, many ideas starts to appear in my head for masks and the party spirit begins to settle in the areas where the carnival is celebrated in Portugal.
When I was little i always went to carnival in Ovar with my parents and, of course, always disguised. This happned because we had family there and they always participated in the parade, so we ended up also involved in the preparations and subsequent parties. It was a very funny day, full of joy, music and masks. Nowadays, i no longer care much about the carnival, but when i go i end up going to Torres Vedras, the spirit is a little different, but the essential is the same; music, joy, masks, many people and lots of fun.
In Portugal we have a saying, "It's carnival,so, no one will take it wrong!", So, for those who like to celebrate and enjoy the carnival, relieving the stress of our routine, enjoy yourselves.

Com o carnaval a chegar, começam a aparecer muitas ideias
para as mascaras deste ano e o espírito de festa começa a instalar-se pelas
zonas "carnavalescas" de Portugal.
Em pequena ia muito ao carnaval de Ovar com os meus pais,
sempre vestida a rigor, isto porque temos família por lá e eles entravam sempre
nos cortejos, portanto acabávamos envolvidos também nos preparativos e festas
posteriores. Eram uns dias muito engraçados, cheios de alegria, músicas e
mascaras. Hoje em dia já não ligo tanto ao carnaval, mas quando vou acabo por
ir para Torres Vedras, o espírito é um pouco diferente, mas o essencial
mantém-se; música, alegria, muitas pessoas mascaras e muita diversão.
Em Portugal temos um ditado, "É carnaval, ninguém leva
a mal!", por isso para quem gosta e aproveita o carnaval para se divertir
e aliviar o stress da nossa rotina, divirtam-se.
